Family is an important aspect of our company, not only because La Laiterie is a family-run business, but also because we believe it's essential to get to know and integrate every employee.
An annual country picnic!
On Saturday, September 21, the 5th edition of the annual picnic for Coaticook Dairy employees, with a country theme! - Last year, it was the Beach Party! - We try to make our activities as attractive as possible, with surprises and games for the whole family. On this day, spouses and children are welcome. We're so lucky with the weather! Every year, we have warmth and plenty of sunshine.
A day of pure pleasure
As you can see on our ice cream containers, we make pure pleasure for our customers. Well, we try to be good to our employees too!
La Laiterie de Coaticook's ice cream caravan was on hand all day. Everyone has tried to manufacture their own soft ice cream cone... à VOLONTÉ! We had an afternoon barbecue with chicken wings and sausages, a candy bar, chips and Slush! A wide range of games were on offer, from washers to ladder balls, irons and even volleyball. Most popular of all were the inflatable games for the little ones. In keeping with this year's theme, a mechanical bull made the bravest participants twirl! We also planned a relay race to encourage teamwork. Each team had to solve a series of challenges as quickly as possible. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and each child present received a gift.
The annual picnic is completely free of charge for all guests. It is offered by the company with a contribution from our active social club.
... and it continues into the evening
Those who couldn't make the whole day joined us for supper. All-you-can-eat pizza with twisted potato chips! We brought in Foodies with its large oven to cook all kinds of pizzas for all tastes. Finally, we enjoyed a country show, dancing or just sitting around a campfire.
Leave in complete safety
A novelty this year: we had equipped ourselves with a breathalyser - the first of its kind in the world. better known as breathalyzer. Of course, everyone can enjoy the day, ideally in a responsible way, but we want to make sure everyone gets home safely. We can't be too careful! We also offered a free shuttle service.
Another summer season comes to an end
The time of year for the picnic is not chosen at random. This event is an opportunity for us to thank our employees following the summer season, La Laiterie's busiest. Sometimes short-staffed, we've managed to satisfy our customers all over Quebec, thanks to the efforts and commitment of each and every one of us!
